Sermon Notes for Kids
There are many free sermon notes for kids to be found on Pinterest and other places. These tools can be used to help your children be active listeners. Use the sheet at a later time to discuss the message. It’s also a good idea to reward kids for listening and taking notes. The promise of a lollipop or other reward can make a big difference.
The tally mark sheet is created each week for the “Kids Worship Packs“. If your children are attending the in-person worship gatherings on Sunday, look for those packs in the foyer. To mix it up…try one of the other sermon note sheets.
- “Living Up: Matthew 5:33-37” tally mark sheet.
- “Alphabet and Count” sermon note sheet.
- “Handwriting Practice Notes” Use this sheet to have your child practice their handwriting skills.

God Made Me for Worship; Help Children Understand Church
The God Made Me series features beautifully illustrated children’s books created to help guide parents and caretakers toward important, gospel-centered conversations with their kids. We have several of these books in our Media Center at SMRBC. They have a new book in the series and you can watch the author read it above. This book would be a helpful tool for any parent preparing their child to join us in the worship service. You can learn more about the other books HERE.
