Sermon Notes for Kids
There are many free sermon notes for kids to be found on Pinterest and other places. These tools can be used to help your children be active listeners. Use the sheet at a later time to discuss the message. It’s also a good idea to reward kids for listening and taking notes. The promise of a lollipop or other reward can make a big difference.
The tally mark sheet is created each week for the “Kids Worship Packs“. If your children are attending the in-person worship gatherings on Sunday, look for those packs in the foyer. To mix it up…try one of the other sermon note sheets.

Family Worship Experience: Next Steps
Each week I will try to make a suggestion that will keep the Sunday message before your children. Pick a time that works best for you family to do this activity. Maybe after dinner or before bed.
Taste Test: Sometime this week let you children try some different foods with and without salt. Popcorn would work well or maybe you could even pull it off with a vegetable like green beans. Read and discuss Matthew 5:13. Ask why the food with salt tasted better than the food without salt. Jesus called his followers “the salt of the earth”. Those that follow Jesus help make the world a better place. Encourage your children to love God, share Him with others and be the SALT of the earth!
